This website, rosannavisser.com, is operated by Rosanna Visser, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, I am the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.

If you have a question about your personal information or would like to exercise any of your data protection rights, you can contact me through the Contact page on this website.

What information I collect

If you contact me through the website, I collect the information you choose to provide, which currently includes:

Name
Email address
The information contained in your message

I only ask for the information I need in order to understand and respond to your enquiry.

How I use your information

I use information submitted through the contact form to:

Respond to your enquiry
Communicate with you about the reason you contacted me
Consider whether I may be able to provide professional services to you
Maintain appropriate records relating to enquiries and client relationships

I do not use contact form information to add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails unless you have separately asked to receive them.

I do not sell your personal information.

My lawful basis for using your information

When you contact me about my services, processing your information may be necessary in order to respond to your request and, where relevant, take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

I also have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, communicating with people who contact me and operating my business effectively.

Website analytics

I use the analytics provided by Ghost, the platform on which this website is hosted, to understand how the website is being used.

Ghost’s website analytics are first-party and cookie-free. They do not use cookies or persistent browser storage to identify visitors across sessions, browsers or devices.

I use this information to understand things such as website visits, page views and how people find the website. I do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Contact form

The contact form on this website is provided using Formspree.

When you submit the form, the information you enter is processed by Formspree so that your enquiry can be delivered to me. Formspree also stores form submissions within its service.

Formspree hosts its services using Amazon Web Services in the United States and states that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for GDPR-compliant international data transfers.

How long I keep your information

If your enquiry does not result in an ongoing client relationship, I will normally keep the enquiry for up to 12 months and then delete it unless there is a genuine reason to retain it for longer.

If you become a client, some information may need to be kept for longer where this is necessary for legal, tax, contractual or legitimate business record-keeping purposes.

I will not keep personal information for longer than I reasonably need it.

Who I share your information with

I only share personal information where this is necessary to operate the website, respond to your enquiry, provide services or meet a legal obligation.

The service providers currently involved in operating this website include:

Ghost, which hosts the website and provides its first-party analytics.

Formspree, which processes and stores information submitted through the contact form.

I do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
